Burkhard Schittny
06 Jun - 06. Jul 2024
Burkhard Schittny’s „Ink Paintings“ quote the graphic art of the 1960s and 1970s and blend minimalism and elegance with unique distinct colouring. In these new works, Schittny integrates theories and ideas from the Bauhaus, Constructivism, Hard Edge and Minimalism.
But that's not all: in further collections, he creates more images - also with the help of increasingly refined AI. Burkhard Schittny's imagination seems limitless: he is a chameleon of art, a pictorial wizard who succeeds in reinventing himself time and again at the highest level of ideas and with exquisite craftsmanship.
Daniela Linda Dicke (Dede)
02 May - 01 Jun 2024
The pop art of an early Gerhard Richter is an important influence for Hamburg-based Daniela Linda Dicke.
Her grisaille and colour paintings depict scenes from everyday life: a woman lights a cigarette. A young girl stands in front of a caravan. An elderly lady walks her dog.
Dede shows us what is happening around us, but always with a surreal tendency towards the somnambulistic.

Burkhard Schittny
28 Mar - 27 Apr 2024
Schittny’s elegant wall object series "Tubes" combines ideas of Avant-Garde geometric abstract art, post-war modernism and Op-Art. The special appeal of these pieces lies in their absence of representational content.
The "Tubes" have a rational-geometric structure but are equally sensual and overwhelming in their brilliance which changes and shimmers depending on the angle of view and the incidence of light.
These new works by Burkhard Schittny perfectly balance between minimalist reduction and blinding illusionism.
Sebastian Büsching
15 Feb - 23 Mar 2024
Sebastian Büsching from Bremen has a degree in communication design and has been working as a graphic designer and illustrator for over 20 years.
His free artistic works mix the trivial with the enigmatic: he shows us a yellow puppy with a bobble hat and broccoli, a lonely red chair in a snowstorm, a water jumper - "Arschbombe". Büsching's art combines humour with melancholy.

Marc Peschke
02 Nov - 23 Dec 2023
The photographic series by art historian and artist Marc Peschke, who lives in the Rhine-Main region and Hamburg, break away from the classic stylistic devices of photography and photographic art.
Series of works such as "After This Darkness There Is Another", "Among Animals & Plants", "Maschera", "The Cubes - Liquidacion Total" and "La Memoria" are created while travelling and are understood as a subjective, fragmentary diary.
